CA Plex / 2E Event in Tokyo

Our Japanese version of WebClient has been in beta for 3 months now, and is being well received. We will be releasing a full international capability with WebClient 1.4SP1 (scheduled for December 2008), which will include supportĀ forĀ double byte languages such as Japanese. This will augment the existing support that WebClient has for single byte languages.

ADC Austin Tech has been invited to speak at the CA Plex/2E Japanese user event, and John Rhodes will be presenting topics on Thursday, December 4. We are looking forward to this event with the local partner, Takaya.

CA World 2008

CA World 2008 is complete, and we are back at the ranch in Austin.

Discussions with customers, CA product users, and the CA folks themselves is always a good and productive exercises.

  • We accomplished a number of things at CA World.
  • Held a CA Education event for Websydian WebClient, along with a lab session and a presentation.
  • Launched a line of program source scanners for CA Repository, based on universal XML exchange.
  • Had many good conversations at our booth.
  • And of course, enjoyed a bit of R&R at CA Event night and the mainframe party.

We look forward to doing this again in 18 months.
